Somewhere between selling people products that aren’t good for them and realizing our power to influence, we decided we only want to use our superpowers for good.

The result? REVEL8. A full-service idea agency committed to influencing people’s lives for the better.

We do it by turning brands into role models. Why? Because role models have the power to improve lives — they inspire and motivate people to become their aspirational selves. When this happens, people won’t just want to buy you, they’ll want to be you. Making your brand the most influential brand in its category.

Building on our years as a global strategic consulting firm, REVEL8 now includes top global creative talent to ensure that the most influential strategies are paired with the most empathic creative ideas.

We are an energized, award-winning force of passionate creators, anthropologists, psychologists, strategists, scientists and visionaries who wake up every day inspired to create revelatory ideas. Ideas that turn brands into role models.

Leadership

Stephanie Ouyoumjian

STEPHANIE OUYOUMJIAN

CEO

Stephanie never set out to be founder or CEO of an agency. As an anthropologist, she was perfectly content figuring out why people do what they do and how to get them to do what clients want. After years of heading up strategy at world-class agencies like DDB, Publicis, and MullenLowe, Stephanie harnessed her influential superpower and founded Strategy Farm, an agency focused on solving strategic upstream and downstream business challenges for global healthcare brands. Quite successfully, we might add, growing the agency by 2600% in just three years. With an increasing need to harness her influential superpowers for good, Stephanie pivoted and started REVEL8. She’s now focused on turning brands into role models through influential strategy and world-class creative. It’s no surprise her role model is Wonder Woman. Stephanie is a fierce protector of her two amazing daughters and is on a mission to save the world, one brand at a time. She’s our very own Wonder Woman, circa 2022.

Stephanie’s Role Model

Lynda Carter’s Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman was always on a mission – she had mastery over her powers and never hesitated to take action. She was always calm under pressure, motivating others to reach new heights, taking on challenges with a smile, and inspiring awe among all who met her.

Aaron Thornton

AARON THORNTON

Co-Chief Creative Officer

Shhh, Aaron doesn’t like to talk about himself. But that’s okay, he doesn’t need to. His beautiful visual ideas tell you exactly who he is – an award-winning, creative powerhouse. Aaron’s North Carolina roots were transplanted to Dallas, Texas, where his laid-back demeanor and right-brained tendencies led him to two decades of world-class experience on global brands like Ram, Jeep, Patrón and TGI Fridays, to name a few. He’s earned all the bougie creative awards, and his work has been in more Super Bowls than most NFL teams. But he’ll never talk about it. Aaron is focused on his craft, whether he’s on a high-pressure international TV production or kerning headlines at his desk. He brings this craft to REVEL8, along with a celebrated portfolio of art direction, typography, writing, directing, and leadership. All of which he’ll never tell you about.

Aaron’s Role Model

Gunnery Sgt. Archie Thornton

Sparsely known to many but someone closest to my heart. His kindness and fearless commitment to his country and family are rare and should be celebrated. A man who never broke a promise and always tested the boundaries of good in this world. He taught me many things that I still hold true to this day, including throwing a four-seam fastball.

Julia Melle

JULIA MELLE

Co-Chief Creative Officer

Julia owns quite the hat collection. You want to talk creative leadership? She has a hat for that. Big global ideas, digital or loyalty marketing? Hat, hat, hat. Defensive football schemes, oh yes, a hat. Over the past 28 years in the business, Julia has listened, learned and collected as many hats as possible. Along with the experience, came the accolades – Cannes Lions, ADDYs, Effies and Olympic and Super Bowl work. Prior to joining REVEL8, Julia spent nearly a decade with Leo Burnett where she helped break all-time share records for P&G’s Always and Kellogg’s Special K brands. During her time at Publicis, she was the executive creative director, managing the office and global accounts such as Bridgestone and Nestlé Pure Life Water. Most recently, Julia worked at The Richards Group where she served as creative group head and sat on the Creative Leadership Council while leading brands such as Nature’s Own, Dave’s Killer Bread and Schwab Trading Services – growing her group to nearly $10M in revenue. Her favorite hat of all? Her mom hat. Julia has three amazing boys and her very own social media focus group.

Julia’s Role Model

Mayor Pete Jenkins

I could name my favorite author, activist or visionary. I’m tempted. Truth is, I’m fortunate to look no further than my own father for the greatest of inspiration. Mayor Pete was a respected leader serving a community of more than 25,000 diverse people. He changed the town’s motto to “Be Kind” in an effort to bridge divides. He fostered a culture of equity and inclusion and fiercely protected it. He focused on economic development because growth meant more jobs and better education systems. And he visited the churches, community centers, schools, fire stations and bellied up to the counter at the local diner because that’s where you keep your ear to the people. My father told me if I was kind, fair, firm and consistent I would earn respect. He was right. He was always right.

Susan Scott

SUSAN SCOTT

Executive Vice President Client Services

Susan could teach a master class in partner relationships in her sleep. Who knows – she just might. Her gift, which she graciously shares with coworkers and clients daily, is a rare mix of infectious positivity and laser-focused, strategic problem-solving. Her leadership skills rank somewhere near the superhero level, as evidenced by the many domestic and global brands, industries, audiences, and corporate structures she has helped transform during her long tenure in the marketing and communications industry.  A short list of her global client partners include the United Nations, Disney, Edwards Lifesciences, Grupo Lala, Anhueser-Busch, Nestlé Food & Beverage, Sara Lee, Delta Dental, Siemens, Stryker, Abbott Labs, Grupo Bimbo, GlaxoSmithKilne and Feeding America.

Susan’s Role Model

Cleopatra

She is THE original badass boss. Cleopatra was a strategic genius, a mother, a leader and a history maker. She was deeply religious but also embraced knowledge and science. She made her people’s lives better as Egypt prospered tremendously under her reign. She spoke eight languages, had seven children and brought two Roman generals to their knees. She did it all on her terms – and in super-cute open-toed sandals.
